Another True Story from the Illinois Department of Revenue Taxpayer Assistance at the Willard Ice Building

The Illinois Department of Revenue Taxpayer Assistance office has become a training center for new employees.

We continue with puzzling solutions to our client's problems


"We have no way to tell whether the documents had been received even if we cashed the check you sent with them.  But give another copy of what you sent in, I will stamp it, and then if you get any more correspondence bring it to me."
